I own this pitcher the past 1 year.
This is certainly a good decanter regarding filtration, a tad expensive to still use. This model is useful for filling the water trap door opens under the weight of tap water. Analysis of water by the probe provides a better idea of ​​the cartridge life (especially if hard water).
Unfortunately, after a year, I am the second replacement of the probe (ie a life of 6 months!) That has a serious design flaw: it is not tight enough. On repeated contact with water, it will be invaded in the part "sealed" where there are electronics. First, the probe will not trigger more in contact with the water, then the display will stop working permanently. The first time, I thought it was a battery failure but BRITA assured me that it was not that and in fact it was the probe.
And, fortunately, BRITA has a service of quality and they are very familiar with this defect. They will send you a new probe so free on request on the website without asking for explanations ...
