Transfers are Usb3 at speeds exceeding 100MB / s, these speeds can exceed 30MB / s with key Usb2 or hard drives. I transferred a hard drive 2TB USB 2 which was almost full on this new disc: impeccable (about 14H), the disc was warm throughout the period. Noise is a little bearable hissing, somehow it goes to sleep when not in use so if we use this as a backup disk or mass storage it will not be embarrassing. The light in front of the disk are given operating condition, it stops when it is not connected to the computer (there is no power button).
