This part has in our son (3 1/2 years) hit like a bomb !!! He got it as a gift after a hospital stay with OP. Did he really deserves.

At first we were quite shocked because of the very loud noise of this vehicle. But the genius of the thing is, you can turn almost completely off at the remote! Thus, you only hear when the concrete mixer drives and if he mixes.
And the LED - lights are amazing !!

Small minus on the edge: We have already used up a lot of batteries! ;-)
