The laptop was unfortunately pretty much the last one was not delivered with Windows 7. Windows 8 does not come into the house, so I bought this device me. After I had migrated over two weekends a lot of my applications (approx. 100 pcs.) On the new device, I unfortunately had to take a longer break. After approx. 3 1/2 - 4 months, I wanted to take the laptop back into operation and perform the final migration steps. The device can no longer turn on. A removal of the battery and attempt to operate the laptop only on AC power, also remained inconclusive. So I will have to have the unit repaired. No idea what it could be, which can no longer be the laptop on. I am are around. 10 years enthusiastic SONY Vario users and will probably next year when Windows 10 comes out, must migrate to these producers and the new operating system. Conclusion: Stay away from this ACER Laptop!
