This thing can actually supposed everything a modern recorders can: twin tuner, HD channels, 1 GB hard disk, network, various inputs and outputs.
Because I also know, thanks to Samsung's different, here the properties that appeal to me personally:
- Each program gets to reliable.
- Order Setting & channels is fairly easy
- User interface is not particularly beautiful, but functional. Everything is within easy reach.
- Integrated WLAN connecting with networks with which the SSID is not gebroadcastet.
- View records already while recording is still in progress.
And now the real hit:
- The Panaonsic can _everything_ stream into the home network. These include not only TV recordings, but also the TV channels !!!
- Thanks to streaming allows the records tap the PC (for example with the software MediaMonkey.). Although this is inzw. State-Of-The-Art, but so far shots were always a sacred cow that you got worst possible on the PC. (Eg DVD-RW)
So, you can see that I am very pleased with the Panasonic. This is not only the streaming, but also the fact that the device is just reliable.
As a media player, the Panasonic has not yet denied me a file format when it comes to DLNA, and which formats are supported as I can but say nothing. The formats that are necessary for a DLNA certification, but are a joke anyway, so I avoid that, as far as it goes.
Ad Streaming Clients:
on PC with media such as Monkey, Android and iPhone's own clients free of Panasonic in the respective stores. On Android thus also works as media House UPnP, basically everything DLNA understands.
Ad MediaMonkey, or recordings from Panasonic tap:
MediaMonkey is free, and DLNA streams can store on your hard drive. This works similar to copying files, the time is therefore dependent on network speed, not on the length of the broadcast.
