Thunder there are (currently) no longer, alas! Because this rock band from UK played such a brilliant R & B-influenced Classic / Meldodic rock in the tradition of Bad Company and Led Zeppelin as it had formerly done no band in the 90s. Entertaining songs that quickly come mostly to the point, a magnificent guitar work by Luke Morley and to the powerful voice of singer Danny Bowes. When this compilation in 1995 put on the market, it was already clear that the separation was only a matter of time, and after two more studio albums, the few (but then high-class) had high points, was finally (the significance of this word in Reunion glut of recent years)? Final. This best-of compilation has the strongest pieces of Thunder career summarized, even if the disc at the end a little out of breath. Nevertheless, among the 16 songs at least 10 classic and accordingly enjoys the band in your home still (rightly) a great reputation. For newcomers as alternatives the 98s live album and the grandiose documentation of the final concert in 2000 are highly recommended.
