A first person shooter impresses with superior production and good technique and that's "Resistance 2": What the X-box player, the "Halo", the PS3 players should be "Resistance 2". From the outset, it is clear that the developers have the weaknesses of its predecessor looked at closely and have them almost all completely removed. Starting with the technical side: The graphics of "Resistance 2" is really smart, no weak textures more, no load-gen character models more and plenty of action on the screen. As in the previous project above especially the sections in the ships and stations of beasts graphically, only this time on a very high level. What I particularly missed the predecessor was this certain bombast that characterizes the "Halo" series. Playing "Halo" conveys to have a always feel something special done by gripping scenes, what it "1 Resistance" somehow never gave in. Not so with "Resistance 2". The battlefields are much larger, it move to 30 people at a time on the screen, the opponents have gained duly again in their aggression and make life really hell. In addition the game has simply become much faster. There are no breathers, it reigns Action non-stop! The story convinces everybody. With "Resistance 2" has managed to create a universe, has the almost incredible potential. Without some of the history anticipate let me say that you go step by step the origin of the beasts on the ground. But what I particularly impressed are the different forms that have accepted the beasts in this game, especially the Boss Fights appear simply bombastic. In a Boss Fight with a skyscraper-high monster you are thrown cross by scripted events through the city, fleeing the seemingly all-powerful beings as best you can, just to make it ultimately slay. That is these moments that one be remembered that have been sorely missed in the predecessor. In "Resistance 2" affects the formula "Bigger is Better" to every nook and cranny. The game looks simply complete and ready than its predecessor, the all can somehow miss a little fine-tuning. The gameplay was largely lifted maintained only on a completely different level. Honestly I would not have expected that the developers with "Resistance 2" could provide such a board. An absolute must-have and on top of that one of the best first person shooters on any next-gen consoles!
