Unfortunately, not FAITH.
It is undisputed: the album is one of the best of the 80's. George Michael was at that time not go wrong. Did he not. To Remaster Edition 2011 was as follows:
Sound:
Regardless of the procedure, a remaster should not make worse the original. And since we can all breathe easier times. Technically sound wins the Remaster significantly. I have virtually no background noise. Faith was never an audiophile pearl - this is the Instrumtierung to synth-heavy. But "Kissing A Fool" sounding punchier in my ears airy, "Hard Day". Good work.
Bonus Material:
If I remember correctly, the missing in the previous reviews "Monogamy Mix" of "I Want Your Sex" only Part 1, 2 and 3 is played consecutively. Yes - the one could easily accommodate here. However, all 3 parts are included. The playlist is just the same as the previous CD version of FAITH. In my view, this is no big drawback What surprises me:. The play "Fantasy" haunts around on George Michael CDs for years. Published as a B side of "Do not Let the Sun Go Down", I have the piece now already found on several CDs, B-sides etc. What shoud that? In addition, the piece does not belong to FAITH album, also to the corresponding singles. What I miss are the live versions of pieces. There is a divine gospel version of One More Try. One Unplugged version of Hand To Mouth. Where are all? Also the DVD would have been good for one or the other live recording.
Packing:
If I had had about the book nor the lyrics and the credits in the original design, I would be thrilled. So unfortunately I'm missing something.
Overall, favorable Remaster version would have passed without the DVD. From this version incl. DVD I expected better. Point deduction.
Too Bad.
