Discovered by chance right out of the album and saw in concert immediately afterwards, Ibrahim Maalouf is one of the artists that I listen now very frequently. But not necessarily a fan of oriental music, I find the mixture of very creative and finely tuned genres with rock and jazz. The music oscillates between very challenging and captivating; the artist is a big man, which seems interesting and friendly.
