The great Billy Idol!
I love all their albums, but since Cyberpunk and the single Speed nespérais more I find the sound Billy Idol I've always known and loved (although Devil's playground is excellent I always preferred the previous albums).
Here is what I expected no more: a flawless production, epic songs, catchy melodies (which get better with son Listens) and Steve Stevens always good.
Musically it is a treat, the voice of Billy Idol still transcendent (even if he cries less its song is unique!) Short, convinced from the first listen!
You would think this album released after Whiplash Smile Billy Idol with a much more mature.
One finds among other electro coast 80s, sometimes New Wave, Post Punk ... and all works fine!
For me it is a no-fault so I will not mention preferred title or weaker, none makes you want to zap me.
The only advice I can give is: if you like or have liked Billy Idol you can go there with your eyes closed!
