The trio then embarks on a very electro track, which is reminiscent of the nostalgic Depeche Mode (Map of the problematic).
Too bad for "Soldier's Poem" is too short, and that sweetness with muse and too rare (this is also a bit of "Shine" of the era of "Origin of Symmetry"). It is safe bet that in England we love "Invincible" ... "together we are invincible" ... yeah, yeah ... the title is still great.
Now begins a second album with the heavy-lyrical "Assassin" whose adrenaline is reminiscent of "Stockholm syndrome," although here Dom (drummer) is impressive precision, "Exo politics" offers a beautiful song quiet with music rather dry and nervous, a lot of know-how from the three guys in this catchy hit.
Many believe "City of Delusion" as the great Muse ... it is true that the Spanish guitar mix, techno, trumpet is not bad, but they could go further in the musical madness as they will not hesitate to make over the next two titles:
"Hoodoo" is what my favorite on the album: Spanish guitar intro and song depressive limit of Matthew just explode on Tchaikovsky agreements (early piano concerto) ... it's very well done and very intense , upsetting even! The piano sounds with a rare clarity and very effective!
Finally "Knights of cydonia" is indescribable, it's a tribute to Morricone a crazy daring, original and terribly grandiloquante ... it is enjoyable !!! Unique!
All that to say that this album is a great album where the soul of the most neurotic trio of England remains (incredible voice, a rare virtuosity, megalomania both baroque and lyrical ...) and I think for any music lover c is the main thing.
