Billy Idol (Audio CD)

Customer Review

the first album of Billy Idol is still very influenced by the New Wave and easily from punk. songs such as "White Wedding", "Hot in the City" and "Dancing With Myself", which he has recorded with his band Generation X, and also on his debut EP "Do not Stop" (which also includes the studio version of "Money Money" contains) it is, are well known and can be found on any greatest hits or best of.
Of course you should take to heart the other songs.
"Dead On Arrival" for example is a slight hardrock-number or "It`s so cruel" a little ballad that is my opinion, but a matter of taste and not be hit every nerve of the listener.
"Nobody`s business" is a great up-tempo number, in which Steve Stevens
very great guitar riffs accompanied.

overall a great album debut (before yes the EP "Don`t Stop) by Billy Idol in 1982 that probably applies more to less pure punk fans, but even more to the listeners of the more commercial rock music in recent years.
