The box itself is made of sturdy cardboard and is excellent (!) Designed. The appearance is the game according pergamentartig and works by old and mysterious. Any extra space that provides the box is decorated with a beautiful concept art. Very nice, I also think that you can find on the box no logos like "PS3" or even the ESRB Rating - so the overall impression is not zersört.
If the box is opened, a cardboard box, in the air cushion protected the iron mask including stand is located, as well as game and soundtrack can be found in common in a DigiPak (such as it is known by many movie DVDs).
The mask has a very good workmanship. It is not perfect in the sense that there are no flat surfaces or a perfect paint or the like on the mask. This I find but not at all bad, because one gets the impression that the mask would have been actually forged by hand. And nevertheless, the mask provides a wealth of detail.
The DigiPak for the two discs is stylistically to the box, which I think is also very positive. However, one finds at least on some DigiPak logos, namely of "Konami" and "Mercury Team" (manufacturers and developers) - but again missing (YEAH !!!) the ESRB rating!
The soundtrack I have not listened, first I want to play the game ... ist'n principle of mine.
Up to this point I would give the box full five stars - so why only four? Because, unfortunately, an artbook missing. Such a book is by the ingenious design of the box, although almost obsolete, but I like to have some information to read (such as in the art book to "Mafia II"). Had there still been, then ... oh, shit what it. This part gets its deserved five star and finished!
Conclusion:
This box is highly recommended for any collector. Just the mask is easily worth the extra cost because it is processed really high quality and also anything but a 08/15-Beiwerk á la "character of plastic" is.
