I wanted a rice cooker to replace the latter failed ... Without non-stick stainless steel tanks ... This is perfect. One has only to measure rice (rinse) and adjust the water as usual and press the key rice. Then keeping warm automatically. I also tested the steam cooking (+ support grid and suitable container) for endives (with the juice of 1/2 lemon) cooking 6mn from the time when the valve whispered. (At the end of the rise in pressure, the valve lets out steam for ± 1 min then the cooking time is displayed (total length ± 15 minutes). We liked the result. I even tried the "skipped" function: diced onions income in a little olive oil (fast and good result -selection "more" for the t °) and chained steam cooking by adding sliced carrots, herbs and a half glass of water (cooking time = 3 minutes, which is always counted from when the camera is mounted in pressure)
The camera will "overheat" not, no longer emits steam during the "cooking" and can therefore think that it is relatively economical in terms of electricity consumption.
In terms of ergonomics: I was pleasantly surprised by the lid that opens effortlessly with one hand as soon as the steam escaped. The cleaning of the tank is much easier it has been carried out quickly after cooking. (If not, the vessel passes without bp dishwasher)
