The rod fulfills its function. The length can be appropriately set, but 2 things are not as nice or completely wrong. 1. Not so nice: Upper and lower rod part chattering after they have been pushed into each other. The fitting accuracy leaves much to be desired. 2. completely wrong: The safety pin has a kind of bayonet lock. The whole thing is quite stiff. The small Näßchen the bayonet lock (the pin) are so thin that I have promptly canceled the 2nd attempt. Here you could have a good solution with a fraction of a cent! Stupidly is the resilient plastic strips, which will serve as loss prevention, possibly the pin pulled out of the hole and the rod dissolves - faintly BIG !!!
Now you have probably rumfrickeln itself to obtain a satisfactory solution. Other reasonable solutions I have not found the net.
