One can repprocher him to be a little consensual but Ridan is not a Bisounours.
His writing is a bit disillusioned (given the time it makes sense), but always touchingly naive and humanity.
I love and will always defend Ridan, it is part of French artists that I admire because it is uncompromising as Dominique A, Benoît Doremus, Gérard Manset and honors the French song.
