A call at the headquarters of the three question mark, does not bode well - as so often. A "Mitch Palmer" has reportedly ex-Commissioner Reynolds kidnapped, which it is ill be handed down if the boys do not dance to its tune. Palmers four rules provide, inter alia, that no police will turn on when the young detectives go on the game: After him. As crazy as this sounds, the crook appears to have actually apart that he is caught. A contest so. When a mysterious package arrives, the gravity of the situation becomes really clear, because it contains perfect fake identity papers for Justus, Peter and Bob and moreover loaded pistols! An accompanying DVD on a current video with Reynolds in captivity as well as a piece of paper on which a meeting is included along with time, are the first concrete indication that leads to track down Palmer. But that should be in only the prelude to a perfidious scavenger hunt up in the state of Nevada, which sometimes also brings to the verge of legality and the three detectives more than once.
Impressions
Author Kari Erlhoff has lately getting pretty tough nuts for the boys on the pan. Moreover, some who more strongly integrate our three heroes of the children's and teenage milieu out in the adult world. Search with kitten and crack small, harmless enigma to track inheritances and Co. this case has nothing in common. Without giving away too much already to be noted that "road of horror" closely related to "message from the underworld" is. It also refers to the cleverly chosen title which is quite allows multiple readings and interpreted ambiguously, as one must admit appreciatively after consumption of fast-paced, unusual story. Not everyone will like the direction this, because it still borderline behaviors of the detectives shows that - especially - have "borderline" regarded by the faithful audience, perhaps even vilified, are likely to be. Positive is determined counted that Commissioner Reynolds again plays a certain role - albeit not a particularly weighty.
Too much you can not go into detail here, the thing is not to spoil in advance - but vehicle theft and also sharp firearms in the hands of the three question marks, but act strange. Of course the guys stay clean in principle. Everything else was not in conformity with the unwritten guidelines series. For this purpose it must be noted that the radio play even a little more moderate (pistols have said, for example, as opposed to the book, no other function) comes along, as it does the novel. There, the distress and misery of the trio is still much more clearly elaborated. However, for some small logic or plausibility error there, who leave the print version. The play takes the essence quite well and is in many ways irrelevant even atmospherically dense because of the sound and the speakers of course contribute to the success of your particular batch. This time apparently created especially for this series soundtrack is particularly remarkable and noteworthy. Very exciting reared and anything but boring.

Conclusion
The reactions to the plot were expected ambivalent - even with the reviewers. In principle, nothing wrong with the story, because it leaves even the little worn out paths and a nasty opponent presented, which even a Justus Jonas has not grown in every respect. However, the book is to be preferred here, since it is the situation not only accurate, but also more differentiated. The play suffers from a bit under the cuts and adjustments, which André Minninger meted out the fabric to you (probably) for the audience to make it more digestible. Nevertheless, it has become a very fast-paced and exciting episode that certainly builds atmosphere and playing with cherished stereotypes.
