In sports, I do not want to wear my 'normal' watch as it is to me really too bad. This plastic device on the other hand you can sweat, shocks, water, heat and cold quite expect. Delivered is the clock with manual in several languages, the steps to the different settings and functions are very well explained in reference to figures of the individual steps. My copy was already set to the correct date and the correct time. The lighting is sufficient to read the display - that's all. In the manual there is talk that the luminosity over time could subside - that remains to be seen. But at night I do not need the clock anyway. The clock is - what you do not necessarily expect the sight - pleasantly light, hardly noticeable on the wrist. Of course it is clunky, but that is due to the design. Gardening has just harmless survived as a half hour jogging outside and two hours in the gym - before the sauna I have, however, they filed, because I want to wear no clock on the wrist and the spectacle is indeed there. About taste can argue about. I like the clock optically not at all, but others might find this just copy especially nice. With regard to the functions, so everything is impeccable and the processing seems as far as I after a relatively short usage can say, to be perfectly fine. The double buckle on the strap suggests that the product developers wanted something durable design. The stopwatch function allows split times and total time, who needs that will find it here - all in all, and given the moderate price is the UPHase a good buy for sports and working out.
