Customer Review

... Thus presents us the charismatic violinist his new masterpiece! And the mathematical and musical equation "Classical + skirt = Crossover" is - how could it be otherwise - again.

The album starts punchy and powerful with the Nirvana classic "Smells Like Teen Spirit"; followed by the slightly schmaltzy "November Rain" (Guns'n Roses) followed by a rock version of Beethoven's "Fifth".
But then it goes right to the point: With "Walk This Way" (Aerosmith) and "Live and Let Die" (Paul McCartney), followed by "Vivaldi vs. Vertigo" in the meeting of the Italian composer and U2 each other, can David Garret once again rip the strings!
Are equally convincing "Master of Puppets" by Metallica, "Peer Gynt" by Grieg, the classic "Mission Impossible" and "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin, in particular the latter to me almost like better than the original ...
The other items are worth listening - and "Rocking All Over The World", where you have to just mitrocken, forms a worthy conclusion to this great crossover project.

David Garrett has succeeded with the classic interpretation of modern rock giants as well as the rock processing of classical pieces to create your own style and to bring with it a successful Colorful and diversity in the classical and modern musical landscape. Chapeau, monsieur!
