Lady Julia is a woman who seems erased and demonstrated little feelings in appearance. Yet those of his family are known for their whimsical character. It seems the exception to the rule, however, expected the death of her husband, who was a weak constitution will be the trigger for Lady Julia. Woman cleared it will pass and intrepid woman in search of truth. I liked this character created to perfection by lauteure. We feel perfectly evolution and disappearance of the shackles which enclosed the character of the character. It is a pleasure to see it become interesting to be so unpredictable and sometimes ignoring the rules of good society.
She will meet with Nicholas Brisbane casually and asked to Lassister in its investigation. This character is colorful and appearances are deceiving, it seems many things hidden beneath its sleek appearance but in the presence of Lady Julia, this appearance seemed to crack gradually. We many surprises. The secondary characters are not overlooked and are essential to the novel.
Do not expect an early conclusion of romance, it is nen nothing and this is where the strength of this novel, lauteure takes his time, everything falls into place at its own pace and the novel becomes more of a police investigation quune strictly romance speak. Lady Julia and Nicholas Mon evolve around the other and their love seems inevitable, yet nothing is easy Ultimately feelings are present but they are nosent lavouer and nothing is really resolved at the end of this volume. I havent read the next quune wait.
I have been captivated by the pen of this author and this unusual heroine. Initially I thought the visually was very thick tome for a historical romance as some are far shorter and javais fear mennuyer but in fact there was absolutely not feel the pages scroll. It is captured from beginning to end by history. Disclosing to progressively following details some pace with laudace found Lady Julia is a real tour de force. The butterfly is released from its chrysalis to progressively quon approach to truth.
Lauteure keeps us in suspense because it introduces elements of surprise throughout history, we never sennuie and especially in the beginning we would not doubt for a moment that quon will discover.
In summary you Laurez understood, i loved this novel and I heartily recommend. I appreciated every moment of my reading, and Jen asks for more, it is certain that I will throw myself on the second volume if only to see what will happen to Nicholas and Julia. A feather mastered with strong characters, in short this book is a small masterpiece doeuvre for me.
