Deponia is nearing its end and Rufus has not much time left to save his homeland from destruction. As Cletus disguised to make it finally collect with Goal in the overhead railway cruiser Organon. How do we know our Rufus, he can keep his feet less than five minutes still and causing a mess on the cruiser that the panel blows up and he is separated from Goal. To make everything even more confusing, meets the most hated Deponianer a cloning machine and thwart tripled. From this point, the storylines split into three branches, one more exciting than the other. Whether Rufus (and if so, how many) and Goal manage to protect Deponia prior to detonation or whether every effort was umsomst, I will not tell you. However, I must confess that the end could not completely convince me, and I remained a little disappointed.
Of course, the operation is a no brainer for me, I am after all, chicory!
The greatest strength of this game, and his predecessors, is the sarcastic and unused humor which mainly Rufus all lives ahead. Goodbye Deponia is one of the few games that I could name, in which you should try every dialogue option or possible combination of inventory objects. Who scurries only through the game, missed fantastic written dialogues and extremely funny sayings. By voice actors perfectly chosen to win all the characters of vitality and color. The creative scene will be bozos family house that looks like a sitcom. Each spell of a family member is accompanied by a laugh or applause and makes Sitation delightfully ironic.
The gameplay consists ansich, as with the first two titles also, of dialogues, minigames and point and click puzzles. The minigames are responsible for loosening the regular action puzzle. In this part, they are unfortunately not optimally managed. Some of them consisted only of trial and error and acted by a bit annoying, although they have not lost any of Humor. So you have to arrange the notes of Organon anthem correctly on a sheet, a tapeworm from Cletus out operate or shut rush him à la Mission Impossible from the ceiling and allowed him not strike it against cactus, or power line.
The regular puzzles are tricky and used creatively, but the solution adds some logic errors in the way, which can be annoying sometimes. Toward the end, unfortunately changed the approach and the puzzles are plumper without alternatives. This change feels untyisch for the series, and contributes to the disappointment that is spreading to the end. Maybe you want to lose at this point there is no voltage, but unfortunately falls great weight, as that you can leave it completely unnoticed.
What makes the third part of the trilogy is the tripartite perspective that lets you play through the story for a little more than half. The three clones Rufus stuck in each prikären situations that everyone must solve for themselves. Gradually replacing one another is unlocked, so you can swap objects from one to another Rufus. The idea is well done and entertaining, as each individual naturally thinks that he was the great head of the mission.
ORGANOOOOOON, oh ORGANOOOON, oh oh, oh ORGANOOOON
In addition to the well-known Hunter music and a few matching new soundtrack, the secret to the lyrics will be revealed to the theme at last. Fortunately, the resolution comes rather late, because I the game no longer would otherwise be able to play to the end, without sing the anthem in my head every second. Another Deponia earwig was born.
Of course, besides this musical pearl the handgemalen 2D paintings are emphasized. Once again proving Daedalic a knack for successful ambience and really great comic style. With plenty of charm and usual Scrap character we again waving goodbye Deponia wistful farewell. However, since the end still holds open theoretically plenty of space for a fourth part, I now pray every night that Daedalic has mercy on us.
Conclusion
The story of Deponia is now finished and we are looking at a worthy ending back with questionable end. Rufus makes us the farewell to hard and really do not like to admit it. The small weaknesses like minigames without mystery, illogical and trigger a wobbly end should be no reason to shut coaxing the final title of the trilogy. It fits in the series and a lot of fun while clicking through. Especially the cameos from Gronkh or Smudo bring again breathe new life into the long-established round. Anyone who is a fan of Deponia and played the first parts can be accessed without batting an eyelid. The rest, please bring the predecessor for and dedicated to following this game. It is worth it!
