The adapter does what he should.. He allows me (not retina) to connect a second external monitor to my MacBook Pro 13 "The first monitor depends on DisplayPort before the monitor can be identified, the DisplayLink drivers have yet to be installed be. After a reboot, I could arrange it quite normal, etc.

The image quality matches, but is nevertheless noticeably delayed and can be used not for video / moving image.

So far so good. The only downside (-1 Stern): every time I take the MacBook and then infect the monitor, I have to do a reboot to be recognized again. A bit annoying. I hope that the driver will be rectified accordingly.

Edit 06/2014: It was reworked and since MacOSX 10.9 recognize my MacBook the monitor without rebooting. This full 5 points!
