runs smoothly in older Mac mini

I wanted to provide a Mac Mini 3.1 from 2009 with more memory in order to use the current operating system OS X Yosemite can. For this I first bought two RAM Riegel, who had received very good reviews on Amazon, but did not work properly in this computer, even though they corresponded exactly to the required type.
