Once one here has a scratches on the paintwork, settles very quickly a rust. When the bucket is at liberty in the kitchen, where it comes from cooking and baking processes nunmal to often higher humidity, the corrosion flourishes really well and then migrates to the usual blistering under the paint along until it is no longer attractive.
A thin zinc under the paint layer, for a few cents more (at the price - now 26.59 euro!), And it would be a perfect pedal bin, where you have many years of enjoyment.
The rust is not per se disturbing, but when a visitor opens the bucket times, it now looks as if the lid from the bottom and the edge is absolutely filthy - but as I said "only" rust and bubbles. Overpainting useless rust coming through again.
Schade, precisely because so much Hailo advertises the corrosion-resistant coating. It must then stop never flake off a scrap of paint, but it's a pedal bin and not a raw egg. Have the rust damage appended in a photo of the review and hope it will remain visible (often disappear critical photos unfortunately the manufacturer. Default? Who knows ...).
