On the bottom of the device is also "TechniStar S1", HOWEVER: The label stuck on exactly one other, on the likely "TechniStar 1+" is (have not replaced him, as the unit returns yes)
Also on the board is only "S1"!
I have a "real" S1 with black remote control and firmware 2.46.0.9.-1911B, Hardware 38.0
The forum "Digitalfernsehen.de" there is to it in a thread's statement that Technisat probably give someone the statement that a charge "by mistake" the wrong bootloader (namely that of the S1 +) partly filled and a silver remote control was settled ...
Well, there is also speculation that Technisat simply supernumerary "1 +" - boards for lack of demand for this user rights-limiting "+" - crap now sold as 1S.
Only: With the "+" - the receiver hardware is much slower than the "simple"
1S (is probably due to the additionally required hardware that allows the limitations in the recordings only!)
And therefore I have now complained at Amzaon and requested an exchange - although I fear another "umgelabelten" to get 1+ ... only the very friendly lady said on the hotline, we would have yet to try an exchange before you can pass on something to the supplier or manufacturer!
And previously in the box to look into whether accompanied by a black remote control (which is a sure sign of a normal S1 had) unfortunately is not what I can understand when the mass of the consignments.
Well let's hope the best - of pages Technisat I find it, however, a sad picture!
To this extent, once just a star, I'll change when the "real" S1 should be delivered, because that is a really good unit!
