That the SAL-30M28 is made of plastic, seems to be an exclusion criterion for some here. For me, anyway.

The Features Bright and less distance to the object (to 2cm !!) let the "disadvantage" forgotten. In addition, anyone who carries around a photo backpack with him, appreciates every gram less on your back over time.

Have the purchase (not like one or two other lenses) never looked back, the SAL-30M28 is a constant "companion" of my photo-equipment become !!
