Construction / Installation:
Actually everything quite simple - the cables are all color-coded, the length of the cable is sufficient for our living room. Practically I find the solution, the cable through the two lower parts of the box (consisting of 3 parts) to lead. So back hangs out no cable. The whole then to the TV via HDMI cable - ready.
Turning - perform initial installation - again ready - no time 10min.
Function and sound:
The sound is of course 1000 times better than from the speakers of the TV, which should be logical. It may be - and will continue to be so, the other systems even better sound and depth and whatever rausbringen - devil was so often cited as an example - but for our living room (about 24m²) and for our needs it is enough thick and price is also attractive in my opinion. Other systems cost here quickly even a few hundred euros more.
The player plays so far everything off with what we have fed him - no denial at any DVDs or BDs - Only a DVD began after about 1 hour play time to stutter to / stutter - since then but all other media have been played without complain about we go here of an error on the media. Furthermore, the player will only be heard if you completely mute the sound and then you have to listen well. In a normal film on a normal volume you do not hear him.
Criticisms:
However, a few points we have noted. SmartTV and home theater can not be switched directly together. What I mean is hereby that the boxes as an example directly tackle when you turn on the TV. The remote control comes with a BD / TV switch, so that the switches with only one remote (since we have both devices by Samsung), however, works without any problems. The remote control can be programmed in this respect to other devices - Manufacturer Code lists are available in the manual. Here I have to say that it is already criticism on a high level and the hardware can not for this, which is programmatically verschuldet.Einen of Samsung small defects had our system, however: In one of the feet were missing the rubber feet. Here we were able to very quickly with the (note: LOB !!! ^^) agree very good customer service from Amazon and some.
Conclusion:
All in all, we are with the product so far very satisfied and would also each friend.
