Silk April 27, 2013 I am now in possession of a Samsung UE42F5070 and thus actually very happy.
The picture quality is in this LED TV much better compared to my previous Samsung LCD TV and has me (assuming proper image setting) very impressed right from the start.
In the corners occur in my device slightly darker areas on which, however, are so minimal that they do not bother me. This "dark spots" are anyway only visible with bright images.
The sound quality of the built speaker has also impressed me ..... this plain can not compete with a surround sound system or other external speakers, but this TV speakers sound quite good in my opinion.
The satellite channel search I initially performed on the starting configuration of the television set, but was unable to move all important for me transmitter to the corresponding program place afterwards. After a reset to factory default and search the satellite channels on the TV-menu but everything went without a hitch.
Moving the transmitter went quite fast and simple as the menu actually everything is self-explanatory.
The switching times of the receiver are also quickly and satisfactorily.
When changing programs, information on the current and any information about the next program is displayed only slightly (for me but sufficient). However, further information can use the "INFO" or "Guide" - be called key.
All in all I'm very happy with this LED TV and can certainly make a recommendation.

The impressive sound quality for LED TVs have I use the Samsung HW-F350 Soundbar spruced up. With the remote control the soundbar also various TV functions can be controlled.

The TV turns off automatically when no operation is performed for 4 hours. This I find very helpful, if you evening forgets to set the sleep timer.
The sleep timer, which. Either on the TV menu or via the "Tools" button on the remote control in 30-minute steps to max 3 hours can be set, the TV after the set time will not turn off without asking. That is, about 1 minute before the "Sleep timer - setting" is the TV still a message and asks if the Sleep Timer shall be retained or disabled.
