average reading on motherboard SATA 3 gigabyte H61-MA-D3V: 330 mb / s: w7 starts in about 8 s with SATA table 3 (26 AWG)
so OK
for longevity, I can not say, but 3 year warranty
write speed: not tested because less ..
for beginners:
(Watch the disc is (like all disks) unpartitioned: it will not be seen in the win workstation before being partitioned and formatted: by gparted-live / clonezilla eg free partitioning software : image to burn on a CD (.iso image), or install on a USB clée the .exe Version
