I have a part for several years. To jump start I have used it a few times on the bike and I can say this little. In addition to little things like footballs and the tires inflate times at home, the main application was to provide a simple notebook with 230V for outdoor deployments. In such an application, there was then also a fuming / burning of the inverter. Fortunately outdoors, because the thick and stinking cloud of smoke would have brought in an apartment for a few aftershocks. I've put it quickly in a cleared area and then feared a complete burning. After a quarter of an hour was no more smoke out and after the smell was bearable one week later, I opened it. The inverter was completely destroyed, but the rest just smoky and fully functional. After a thorough cleaning and removal of 230 - the unit parts went back into service and running until today with the rest of the functions continue.
