The great thing about this music sounds familiar and yet very own. 13 songs and almost all equally good. A small masterpiece! To me, this sounds here completely different from the previous cases of The National. The actually dunned more like Lambchop and Tindersticks (without - to have their class - in my eyes). The new record reminds me, however much stronger now to British bands. Maybe that's the real attraction and that elusive music of this CD. Somehow suit me, unlike the previous speakers, most likely the late Wedding Present in mind. Out tip: Secret Meeting
