Every time I listen to Dead Cities I get kind of a sense of fear. Dead Cities, death, end, horror ... are thoughts that can be used to describe this music. Even the song Her Face Forms in Summertime has a somehow elusive subliminal horror. Man waiting for something bad happens again. I admit this description is very emotional and subjective. And these are the thoughts which I have while listening. Musically the album is a masterpiece. Playful, sophisticated and simply good. And so it is FSOL managed to assemble the album name, the album art and music to a meaningful unit which precisely expresses what you feel when you would laeuft.Sollte by the necropolis in any electronic collection are missing.
