System and speakers were as expected to look visually beautiful and also played music from CD from fine. But this can my old hi-fi system also, so I was naturally excited about the additional functions of Ceol.
First, I tried to connect the system to my wireless that otherwise everything uncomplainingly accepted - Android-phones, laptops, desktop PCs, Internet radio, etc. Ceol gave an honest effort, led me through a fairly logically structured menu, wanted a few clicks and entries and then started the connection process. The unfortunately broke after one minute with the succinct message "Connection Failed".
I tried again and again, probably a total of twenty times. Began on the internet to research followed the advice to change the radio channel of the router, the security protocols of exchanged, tried just about everything on the Ceol itself, configured manually made a firmware update (via cable) but without success. A connection to the Wi-Fi was not possible.
In order their return-fate was almost sealed, because the wireless connection was one of the main features that I had expected from the investment. Of course, I also tried it with a network cable, which worked immediately. But I did not put 30 meters of cable through your house.
Then I put even jokingly my Android smartphone to, to test it as UBS media. Also not working, Ceol acknowledged the attempt with a "Unsupported Device" (or something similar), bringing the next feature, which I had put value when not heraustellte available.
Conclusion: A really nicely-designed device that as part of its price and its size also provides good sound. However, if features like Wi-Fi (disappointing that Ceol can not from the year 2012, what Noxon from 2004 hinbekommt problems), and the USB connection are not for mass popular Android system, then remain at the end of a conventional stereo left, and which I have already.
In a previous review wrote a buyer, everyone should thoroughly test the system before making a final decision. I can only confirm. In my case it led to the return.
