We have this thing in the Titanausfuehrung. (Model 026 2800 44)
This clock was rarely worn, from my wife. Now came a few weeks ago one of the pushbuttons "lost". Only five days later, a 2nd button was gone.
Hopefully my wife brought the Junghans mid-August to the jeweler.
Today, on September 10, the jeweler calls me, Junghans, so he said, had to replace the entire housing, the buttons can not be so easily replaced.
And the whole thing would cost me but then 220 Euro. The casing was badly scratched and crushed.
This is not just a joke, it is on top of that is a lie.
We have a small collection of Junghans watches.
Beginning with the first digital Mega 1 (Model 26 0013201) -no problem,
the first analog Mega (Model 25 4103403) -never a problem,
then 2x those in asymmetric form with blue PVD coating (Model 021 / 4310.00), which carried a lot and the other new, new as it gets. (Both still run).
A Mega Solar (Model 21-4400-501) (never a problem.)
Then it would go wrong with the Mega Solar Ceramik (model 018 1805811) (since 1997):
1. problem, the rubber spacers bracelet broke up after a few months; new bracelet 170 Euro
2.tes problem the battery charged no longer on my solar. Again 185 Euro
Then the Mega Solar (Model 053 1213 403) whose Time Zone button fell inwards. Exchange work, the battery is also defective. (Solar model, I repeat ...) 180 euro
The last clock was bought Junghans Apollo Alarm Chronograph (Model 54 4320312). from the very beginning did not work the alarm. So on the 2nd day back ..... 6 months elapsed until Junghans condescended to send a new clock.
All these watches are together in a watch box with glass lid.
Sometimes the watches are in the closet. After 15 minutes of light they are working again (except derMega Solar Ceramik, the Mega Solar Model 053 1213 403)
Strangely, the elders immediately run again.
Buttons, repeatedly the buttons on the various Junghans either did not work, were lost, the housing fell into it. All works bought since 1997, show defects.
I never buy again Junghans; that is no longer "good German movement", all my Seiko ongoing. Since the seventies; if mechanically or electronically.
