The Seagate Backup hard drive larger than 2TB came to replace a hard disk (brand Memup to flee) 2TB death with use. On a Core i5 iMac mid 2010 with Mountain Lion: simple to install (DD recognized first try), very fast (USB 2 home 25 MB / s, not tested USB 3), a well-finished product, which not heat. I absolutely do not use it the supplied software to automate backups of your content on Facebook or Youtube. My usage, formatted partition and 1.2 TB of Carbon Copy Cloner backup with 800 mega diverse storage.
