What has already worked on its predecessors, continues here in new variation. Each title like it simple, if only because of the diversity. Whether rock in "Happy", Electro in "Everyone Nose" or jazz bonds at "Yeah You", there should be something for many tastes.
If they were in my opinion, not consistent: The title "Seeing Sounds" promises an experience of a particular form: The Synesthesia means that different sensory stimuli are taken jointly (eg colors and sounds.). To develop these psychedelic effects, transitions crass, the individual sounds should have been less catchy. That would then no longer have NERD, but something completely different.
Unfortunately, there is something that bothers me massively. First of all: I do not expect lectures on quantum physics. But lyrically, the album does not get much beyond love stories, similar to Pharrell's solo album. For an album with that sound, I would have at least expected more in this regard. That would then no longer have NERD, but something completely different.
Conclusion: strong buy recommendation, one of the great albums this year. Even when it comes to content is not much comes across.
