Scope of supply:
In nicely designed box are the headphones, a quick guide and an adapter cable for smartphones, where the "normal" 3.5 mm jack plug does not fit.
Function and impression:
I had hoped that the Sennheiser would be harder. In fact it weighs on my kitchen scale only 92 grams. As wrote my Vorrezensenten already allows the HD 219S not fold, what bothers me less. I was hoping for more weight and so. On a good momentum The sound is more likely to be described as neutral, the bass is there, but not as powerful as I would have expected. The mids and highs are clean. I had honestly Listen-only a few days to the Sennheiser. So I feel the sound as well. Disturbing I find only the volume is low, which is not alone at the setter (also tested on the PC). The slider on the remote control is already at maximum.
The Headset function is good, if I'm honest I would still pick up the model without because the a bit what matters. The interlocutors have understood me as well as the conventional phone calls. But the calling is not my main purpose of Sennheiser, but just the music.
The comfort is ok, nothing suppressed with me. After a long gestation period I sweat pretty on the ears, but with my other headphones even then (ie in the non-in-ear models).
Is performed on one side that the cable of the cable should be expected these days, I think it's neither an advantage nor a disadvantage. That the cable is thin seems to me more likely to be a risk, in which case proper care even my oldest headphones still go (although since the cables are, in part noticeably stiffer and thus become even more fragile by the isolation ago). The cable length is more than Ok, on the remote control, there is no attachment clip.
Conclusion:
Four stars out of my side. Who can do without the headset function and more bass (more pressure) needs should look at the other models from Sennheiser. Who wants to combine telephony with the music on the move can access without much worry, really wrong to do with the HD 219 S nothing. When it comes you should still before buying probehören times, if possible. The tastes differ.
