Sensational CD Box. Congratulations!

Here's what really really big succeeded, 50 years Euro Vision music history on 4 brimful CDs. In addition to all 50 winners titles in order from the years 1956-2005 chronlogischer here are included even 50 other interesting titles. These have here quite rightly their raison d'être and make this compilation CDs only a real hit.

In 1975 finished in 17th place to Joy Flemming is for example "Before her Euro Vision outing, Joy Flemming was a phenomenal jazz singer with a dislike of commercial pop. She had grown up with American influences from the GI clubs of her home town of Mannheim. The production of her Euro Vision entry echoed the modern Philly sound "of the day, but despite a rousing performance it reached only 17th place in Stochholm. The song has since become a cult classic and fans all over Europe ... "That's right!

There is much to discover and still more "wow" effects and more hits than you would have expected the "Grand Prix". Among them are also a few "One Hit Wonder" such as "Ding-a-dong" of teach-in the winner in 1975 or "Hallelujah" by Milk & Honey with Gali Atari 1979 and also won the Daniel with "Dzuli / Julie "took the 4th place in 1983 for Yugoslavia in the Shakin 'Stevens manner. Pearls, which is probably difficult to get elsewhere on CD.
What I noticed particularly pleasant that here not for the umpteenth time only from the German perspective, the history of "Euro Vision" is told. So you will not find time Katja Ebstein and Mary Roos, had also beautiful Grand Prix title and very good performances. As a fan of this European competition which has certainly already is.
