sensationally good Electronic Album

I found somehow for some time that electronic music is barely developed and much always sounded the same. Now I was really for the first time after an eternity an album impressed. This Marek Hemmann, which I 'In Between' still not 100% convinced was after, manages to combine elements that do not fit together to actually appear with ease in just 10 songs. That's why the album title "Bittersweet" is extremely fit - knarzige bass, deep house, sometimes light and playful, then again deep and hypnotic, good sense of melody, sometimes minimal, then sprawling again - and everything fits together perfectly, because acts nothing enforced. Currently Marek Hemmann's Club on tour and I was able to experience live that Bittersweet is absolutely suitable for clubs. Could not be better. From my perspective, this album is the new reference, the men Kalkbrenner having to queue behind.
