The Denon Cocoon itself is a good and smart device. What I did not like, however, is that the housing of the device is cracked at the bottom and survives. After I discovered this defect, I have the equipment returned, only to find out after a few weeks, that this is supposed to production reasons and which occurs at each unit. I have also checked in retail and in fact, exactly the same cracks, fractures and supernatants among exhibitors. For me it's not suitable for a device in this price range and for a brand name like Denon, especially since there are dealing with the second generation of the device and the same error with new and old devices occurs.
But since I have missed the two weeks deadline for returning the device and Denon also do not want to take back a gesture of goodwill, as they see no shortage in the cracks on the housing, I have to continue to make do with the device.
The two stars are there for the good per se device in terms of design and functionality, the three star deduction for bad production design and lack of interest in product quality.
