The mill is beautiful to look at and has NEN good grinder. That you can make pure salt and pepper at the same time as regular Hackepeter-eater is essential for me. The adjustment of the fineness is also good, but is not so smoothly that they are operated accidentally. One also sees in principle, how much is still there and can therefore buy more time.
I was just 2 points shortage, so 4 stars:
1 .: You fill the mill to the brim with the corresponding spice grinder screwed on again, revolves around the mill and hey presto, the mill is only half full. Huh?
In opaque part, where the grinder is in there is so much space that half of the filled grains trickling in there. The lower compartment looks so from only half filled. Became not earth-shattering problem, but ugly. But had with me not affect the devaluation.
but 2 .: In the mills is a snap hook clamped, transparent ring that holds obviously the grinder in position. The has come off with me on a grinder. The mill has rattled and not milled. I then so (which you studied mechanical engineering;)) pressed the ring with ner scissors back into position. Twice grind later the same problem, pushed back into place, this time with alittle bit more power. Two times later again. I then so up the grinder or the inner part from screwed-(comes with the coarse-fine adjustment. Just always in the direction roughly, then solves the above at some point). The ring again firmly. Immediately came always grind rather coarse particles with the. Once I asked's fine came did nothing more. Then lived belongings for a while with the coarse pieces, eventually we went on my nerves and I've screwed back, ring off, again purified n bit (dry brushing) and pure again. Since then, you go first again but that is now only 2 weeks ago. We'll see.
But to really ne very beautiful and practical 2-in-1 mill. Buy I would se me anyway again =)
UPDATE after 4 weeks:'ve found the problem. The thumb wheel for the coarse-fine adjustment is provided with a brass nut. So far so good. Countered the whole with a plastic lid. Please what? Without the grinder adjusted continuously, without grinding it. The plastic thread is of course totally ausgenudelt by the grinding of pepper. So I'm going to get even a mother who fits up there and then see if it works. But you can still n metal threads do not lock with nem plastic thread?!?!?
