Sev and Rico again on Tour

The game:
I've played through the campaign for the first time on the normal difficulty setting (Trooper). Well, after 6 hours the credits flickered across the screen. Quite short, as with almost every other shooter, but these 6 hours had horny. Guerrilla has put a lot of action in the campaign and so you barely even a quiet minute.
The boxes were properly what to do, because it bangs on all cylinders and the sound is phenomenal. Just when you walk the Mawlr einheizt. The roar when the enormous energy cannon (I just call it that way) is fired is incredible. This is followed for a moment almost ghostly silence, but only briefly, because if then again patters flak on a low fire and the machine-gun nests on all cylinders, it rattles again tremendous. Also the sound of weapons and explosions convinces.
On the graphics, there is also nothing to complain about. I had no Framrate intrusions and tearing. Only now and then there were a few slow reloading textures. But that does not bother, because overall, the graphics in addition to God of War III and Uncharted 2 is pretty much the best I been allowed to admire on the console and the cross-platform. Especially the detail is amazing, even at a distance.
Killzone 3 ties in with the second part and it paves again as Sergeant Sevchenko (ETS) with his friend Rico the way through hostile climes. More I do not want to reveal to the actual story.
The campaign is designed quite varied. The normal skirmishes are a kind of trench warfare again. Man adjusting from cover to cover before. And coverage has sorely needed because the Helghast (the Helghast soldiers) understand it very well, shortly after their coverage to peek out and very precise shooting. The cover system is working very well here. With a Touch Activation Force to take cover and then up, left, right past movies and take the Helghast targeted. Sprints one and pushes the cover button, slide a piece of what brings a still fast to secure coverage. The campaign is broken up repeatedly. Time you are with a sniper rifle from a home support for the ground forces, or you're on a mission creep through the jungle Helghan's move, which was also designed to be extremely good. There is every now and again a few rail shooter deposits. Time we must at the Minigun, sometimes one may control a vehicle itself, but for that I do not want to reveal all too much.
Weapons, there are also plentiful and some are quite twisted. From a bolt gun on a piece of artillery to take and a three-barreled shotgun in the turret format and more.
The only gripe I could install in the campaign is, that even from Guerrilla Games and served to the repeatedly spawning opponents. So the flow of Helghast ceases only when one has reached a certain point. But above I can ignore, since it is not very often happens and is not so obvious to see how in the CoD parts.
Much criticism of Killzone 2 was indeed the control. Here a lot has changed and Sev aims now significantly faster. Nevertheless, the movements while running etc. remain quite sedate and you realize that you just no plastic weapon in his hand, but a heavy MG. The mixture I rather like to be, but I think what the goals is to, one is shot a little over the top. To me it is a little too sensitive, even though I have asked the sensitivity of the right analog sticks quite down.

For multiplayer just a few short words: it's fun, the various classes offer variety. Unfortunately I had in one or another match struggling with connectivity issues. Among other things, I got an error message saying that I was separated from the PSN and I want to sign up. However, I was still logged in PSN.

The Helghast Edition:
The figure of the Helghast sniper is well made, quite detailed and partially movable. The cape and the hoses are even made of rubber and thus flexible. Bringing the figure correctly in position, so that it is, however, has taken me a little time.
The helmet simply looks great. Although he is only "made of plastic, but the painting looks very authentic. The hoses are also well made. The helmet is placed on a stand in the form of Helghast logos. If you turn off the hoses, you can remove the helmet and it comes a small compartment to the fore where you can stow the artbook and the game.
The art book is bound in a hardcover, the pressure is very high and the images and Konzeptzeichungen themselves look very good.
In Europe, the game comes in the Steelbook (in the US it is the standard shell) which looks great too. To the Steelbook is again a plastic slipcase on which are printed the USK logo and all other logos and characters who like to destroy a well-designed cover. Taking it off, you have a clear envelope with a Helghast helmet forward and the Helghast logo on the back.
Furthermore, are currently in two download codes.
All in all, I find the Helghast Edition very chic and I do not cry for the money.

Conclusion:
Killzone 3 is a great shooter, which, though short, varied campaign offers spectacular graphics, great sound and a and a can tie in multiplayer for many, many hours.
Who first person shooter like and has a PS3, you should consider purchasing here. The game does not make it right, perhaps, but much damn good.
Shortly to the criticism of the story:
1. It is a shooter. A deep and perhaps poignant story can and one should perhaps not expect.
