There in a nutshell a recommendation. The blades are very well made, made apparently of a high-quality steel and are very good in the hand. They are very sharp and are due to the size, especially for vegetables and fruit. I would only want a set of three knives of this kind in different lengths, with a smooth blade. With the large knife with serrated blade, I can start little. These are my first Victorinox knives and there certainly are a few more to follow. Sharp knives in the kitchen are just fun, especially for this price.
