What I like about this razor:
+ The cleaning station has a fan again and dried active. Beginning in 7680 as was set again in the meantime (the Series 7), and is now in it again. Very nice.
+ Cleaning station cleans and dries properly.
+ Network operation.
Why me the part no 280 EUR's worth:
- Trimmer: bent.
- Closing lock: Press and hold. That went wrong me at 799 more than once; the razor had turned in the trunk and was empty upon arrival. Why not, as in 7680: Press and slide to unlock!
- No cap on the shaving head (or I have not found).
- Puny display the shaver: What is me because displayed there? The LCD in the Series 7 was ugly, this one I personally find only cheap. Packing, do it again! Ditto for the cleaning station.
- Housing: Cheap plastic acting all around. And that at a flagship.
- Noise: As with the Series 7 is a high-pitched noise; I hear no Pratzeln more and do not know where I have about it again. This is the 7680 better order of magnitude.
- Giant shaving head: I'm no longer correctly under the nose area.
- Scherkopfarretierung: When holding the 7680 bomb-proof, here is sufficient subjectively slight pressure to push the shaving head in a different position. Wanted? Pity!
- New bar in the shaving head: Bring even nüscht.
- Shaving: I do not know why that is, but in exactly the same conditions (preshave) is this shaving head just as bad as the round of Philipps. And write the Brauns yet that the foil was made thinner. Honest true when I have shaved with this here, all stubble were still seen and felt there. Only the second gear with the 7680 then brought the desired result.
Amazon goodness, here you have it again.
PS: Because the 7680 long ago no longer exist, the shaving head at Philips QS6160 / 32 makes similar. For someone who once want to try the alternative.
PPS: In the meantime I have the Panasonic ES-LV95-S803 Shaver and am extremely satisfied. While here probably could get used to the cheap processing, the shaving performance between these devices is just as different as day and night. I would recommend anyone to give even the Panasonic a chance.
