What can you say on this album? So either you love it or hate it (as you can see from the previous reviews). I admit that this album desert rockers is different than the others. Who new "Songs For The Deaf" expected should stay away from this disc. Who, however, sometimes takes time for this monster of music, will get the hang of this masterpiece. Sure, it is progressive and heavy going, but it grooves too pretty. With songs like "I'm Designer" or the next single "3's & 7's" Have I already caught a few times as my feet up and down bobbing. Strangely, I like the bluesy piece "Make it with Chu 'also very good although it was described by many as somewhat weaker. In "Turnin on the screw" or "Misfit Love" by Dave Grohl's hard to trump played drums, you just want to turn louder anyway. Endfazit: The Queens of the Stone Age can not be pigeonholed and try desperately not a new "Songs For The Deaf" to write but to reinvent itself time and again. And it works so well! I find so much courage should be rewarded! Buy and amazement!
