We needed a small trencher for everyday use. It actually takes very little space, the cutting board is folded against the blade. It is not very powerful but is sufficient to cut the ham, sausage, wholemeal bread. A small flat when looking very thin slices, then, the machine shows its limit because the mobile support is a bit too soft in its lower part. This explains the 4 stars of my evaluation. Cleaning is done very well and the blade is easily extractable 1/4 turn without tools. Side money, that's fine.
