Significant improvement to 500 Generation

I had three years three units of the 500 generation of Netgear in operation. They were not bad, but with the three new 1200 Devolo I have achieved a significant improvement. The worst link provided previously about 36 Mbit / s, now with the 1200s, the 86 Mbit / s, namely net (measured by means of file transfer). That is still more than twice as fast. The Devolo Cockpit displays course to more 260 MBit / s. But from this gross value come so only about 30% net to actually.

The installation was easy. And then encrypt and wait until all the adapter stop flashing plugging new, that's it. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that I had to pull it immediately after installing the latest adapter, since it was not automatically recognized by Devolo Cockpit and for searching the net required security code is printed on the back. But that's just a minor thing.

Due to the good performance enhancement, there are of me 5 stars.

Just a note: My house is built in 1983 and completely wired with three wires. And I let the rooms that I have networked with Powerline, put by an electrician in the same phase. That's what I said to begin at use the 500 Netgear devices made. The already had brought about a factor of 1.5 compared to different stages for each adapter.
