The vertical operation facilitates use with one hand (better support), the other hand can hold the container recovering vegetables.
The horizontal use does not easily put a container underneath (there is a small ledge, see the photo), vegetables therefore affect the work plan.
The center of unpeeled vegetable, form a nice "mushroom" that my children fight every time.
I am very satisfied with this product and I enjoyed the ultra fast delivery.
