Simply typical Thunder

A fine thing to have that Thunder reissued after a few years out into the studio and recorded an album with Wonder Days in typical Thunder style. As before, the British maintain a thoroughly honest, dry, no-frills hard rock without big surprises with good melodies, lush guitars and strong vocals unchanged. Find music that screams out to be performed live and that is simply timeless. My only complaint and the reason for only 4 points for me is that some songs (interestingly, particularly in the first half of the album) to have something uninspired lengths.
WONDER DAYS good opener that has a great, very melodic chorus, but in the meantime something loses its intensity and then ripples
THE THING I WANT typical Thunder Party Rocker, good as ever
THE RAIN predominantly an acoustic number at which I constantly wait on that employ the crashing guitars and picks up the pieces momentum. Unfortunately does not happen, so jump in me the spark not over. Could have become a LOW LIFE IN HIGH PLACES when after quite interesting (and also like a long time) acoustic part all lever would have been relevant to power
BLACKWATER and The Prophet in these I lack the brilliant idea and an integrated Thither pounding. Especially sound at THE PROPHET strong bonds in Nazareth This Flight Tonight by, well!
But just as already want to do something broad disappointment if the heard with me, Thunder put really going on:
Ressurection DAY what, super sung for hammer moderate melodies, a Mitgehnummer at its finest; for me actually an absolute single-recommendation
Chasing shadows a piece of a piece, could be included on each Thunder album, just as to this kind of music sound; Hard Rock pur
BROKEN excellent ballad
WHEN THE MUSIC PLAYED witty text and probably the hardest number on the album, cracks and grooves infinite. Extremely catchy! Tip!
SERPENTINE the speed is throttled, the song has but quite grades, good rocking assembly
I LOVE THE WEEKEND Rock & Roll, a pure fun number, the audience brings live safely orderly momentum
Conclusion: absolutely round thing, the album I like better than the last (Robert Johnson's Tombstone or Bang!), And it due to the somewhat flatter songs in the first half of the album for me not quite to hits like Laughing on Judgement Day or Shooting at the Sun extends as.
But they may still continue to rock and above all let them live look in German climes. You just stand one step higher than many of the so-called retro-rock bands.
