This has become my favorite CD and I hear since early childhood music and reggae in particular. On Linton Kwesi Johnson I became aware of a few years ago. The fine, quiet, but very, very sophisticated rhythmic reggae, which he plays in connection with his voice and charisma are so in style, unique and in my opinion unmatched. A Peter Tosh is wild and hectic, a Bob Marley clearly commercial, though perhaps unintentionally and Lee Scratch Perry in a different league. Black Culture, this CD is very fine together. The pieces in harmony with each other and are very consistently top notch. I do not know how many times I've heard this CD, determined 70-80 times, it runs as a copy in my car very often. The sound quality is classified as a squeaky clean and audiophile. Filfigrane modulation with thick bass, but never contrived or intrusive acts, on the contrary, that is precisely the seasoning in Linton Kwesi Johnson Reggae / Dub. Also find melodies and harmonies beautifully painted in every piece! His music can not simply sit ansich a quiet, one begins even in the car, at the 40th time listening, "dance with them" again and again, dancing seat, so to speak :-)
Can the CD to anyone who appreciates a well-kept Reggae, only recommend highly, but I think that already know the CD anyway, but also all other lovers of sophisticated and yet very catchy music is the CD advised that should in no sincere collection missing :-)
